We kicked off this year’s ELP with an inspiring first session focused on leadership principles and professional growth. It was wonderful to welcome this year’s cohort and see the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment they are bringing to their leadership journey.

The Enhanced Leadership Program gives emerging leaders opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills, expand their professional networks, and gain valuable insights from industry leaders throughout the nine-month program.

Welcome, ACEC Virginia Emerging Leaders Institute Class of 2027!

A few weeks ago, we kicked off the first session of the Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) with a great day of learning, connection, and professional development.

The day included:
-An introduction to ACEC Virginia and the resources available to our emerging leaders
-Practical tips and strategies for networking effectively in business settings
-A hands-on plated etiquette lunch to put professional dining skills into practice

We’re excited to watch this group grow, connect, and develop throughout the year. We look forward to an amazing year with the ELI Class of 2026!

Our ACEC Virginia Executive Board and Committee Leadership recently gathered in Charlottesville for our annual leadership retreat. The retreat was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, connect with fellow leaders, and focus on the year ahead.

Together, we:
• Reviewed our strategic plan and priorities for the next several years
• Discussed goals and opportunities for continued growth and member engagement
• Networked and strengthened relationships among our volunteer leadership
• Prepared for a new programming year and the opportunities ahead

We are grateful to our Executive Board, committee chairs, vice chairs, and volunteer leaders for their time, commitment, and continued dedication to ACEC Virginia.
