A heartfelt thank you to AT&T Pioneers - Silver State Chapter 101 for being such dedicated, generous, and valued partners to KTMB!

During our 2026 Truckee River Cleanup, their incredible team supported all project sites by assisting with tool drop-offs and donating $5,000 worth of tools to drive our impact even further. We are grateful for their hard work and commitment to keeping our region clean and beautiful as they are also strong adopters of Longley Ln. to Rock Blvd. Partnerships like these make a lasting difference. Thank you, AT&T Pioneers Silver State Chapter 101!

If you and your business or organization are interested in getting involved through volunteerism or sponsorships, we want to connect with you! Head to the link in the comments below. 💙😊

As leaves begin to fall and winter festivities are just around the corner, it’s a great time to reflect on the impact we’ve made together so far this year. Since January 2026, KTMB has mobilized 4,528 community volunteers to remove 430,308 pounds of litter and 298,635 pounds of green waste (including invasive weeds) from our region. Through our Community Education program, 252 adults have also learned how to reduce waste, conserve water, prevent the spread of weeds.

With a small but mighty team of just 7 full-time staff, we’re grateful for the incredible community support that makes this work possible. Want to help us do even more?

Don’t throw computer monitors in the trash! 🙅 Monitors contain valuable materials that can be recovered and, especially in older models, components that require special handling.

They can be recycled! Recycling them through an approved electronics recycler keeps hazardous materials out of the landfill, conserves natural resources, and gives materials a second life! Our Recycling Guide has details and locations on local disposal spots. Head to the link in the comments to search!

A beautiful thank you to Greater Nevada Credit Union volunteers for removing over 500 pounds of litter from the South Meadows Ditch, which is part of Thomas Creek. Litter ranged from small pieces of plastic to a shopping cart! 🛒😮

Volunteers are the reason KTMB can continue to create a beautiful, more sustainable region. Be like the Greater Nevada Credit Union crew and schedule a cleanup at a site that works for you! Head to the link in the comments to learn more. 💙
