THIS FRIDAY!
Enjoy learning how to do expressive art with Gail Spooner. You'll learn how to express what you feel on your canvas. You'll be surprised by what you can create!

This class requires no previous art experience and you'll be leaving with a renewed sense of freedom. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased by clicking on the link in our profile or going to our website at www.plantableredding.org.

Your ticket supports hands-on job training in horticulture and food service for people facing barriers to employment, including individuals experiencing homelessness and those with disabilities.

Come ready to paint, relax, and see how art and nature can grow opportunity for our community.

"This is not your typical coffee shop or plant nursery. That said, I feel like it is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a panini with friends (with or without kids). We stumbled across this place after going to the Saturday farmers market. It’s not a full coffee bar; they have a simple menu of locally roasted drip coffee for $2, paninis, soup, salad, beignets, and a few packaged chips. The panini was ample and delicious, the coffee hot and fresh. You cannot beat the ambience. It’s like a beautiful garden with many little sitting nooks. They also are open Friday evenings and have some live music, w**e and b**r, fire pits with s’mores kits for the kids. (I hear they are looking into adding a Sunday brunch soon too). As a non-profit, their ultimate mission is to help the underserved by offering training in horticulture and hospitality. This is a Redding gem for what it offers, how it helps the community, and I will certainly will be back!"

Plantable started out as a dream, then that dream took root in a broken down building that people passed by a hundred times a day, but never noticed. They notice now 😍. Do you remember what this building was before Plantable?

We provide work experience for underserved populations like adults with disabilities and people experiencing homelessness and you can seamlessly raise funding for this vital work through your social media!!

It's easy and free and all the proceeds raised go directly to Plantable!
Step 1. Make a post on Facebook or Instagram- don't post yet!
Step 2. Go into the Add More box at the bottom and click on the three dots on Facebook and on Instagram go into the More Options and hit Add Fundraiser.
Step 3. Then type in Plantable and decide the amount you want to raise, the default amount that comes up is usually the best route to go. That's it! Post and it shares with your followers who can give a gift to help meet the goal!
