Reciproka

Reciproka Cultural, economic, and social freedom through reciprocity between peoples, cultures, and nations We are also helping with tuition payments.

Reciproka is working toward its mission through 3 programs that work synergistically: Education, Culture, and Environment. The educational program gives affordable English classes, French classes for people that did not get a chance to go to school. Through our cultural program, we organize cultural reciprocity programs locally and internationally. We also work at the revalorization of some tradit

ional knowledge and practices that are useful but are getting lost. The environmental program does reforestation, seed collecting, saving, the revalorization of traditional medicinal and edible plants, and their preservation.

“Aside from clothes and food, sometimes we’ll hear from people who don’t feel connected to their families or need to talk to someone and don’t have anyone else they can go to. People are finding their community here at the center and that keeps me motivated when I'm working here.”
