Many of our horses are paired up with a perfect friend and we often see them "side by side" throughout the day - eating, napping, drinking, sharing their bowl, laying down together. It's a special thing 😊

A few photos from the Golf Tournament Fundraiser for Carrying Heroes this month! What a fun time, perfect weather, and great people who joined us to support our cause of rescuing horses so they can help our heroes! We raised just over $4,000 which will go towards our hay bill for a few months! Stay tuned because we plan to hold a bigger tournament this Fall!

Chiefy got to come home this week ❤️ First photo is at the vet the day we picked him up, saying ok get me outta here. Second photo is today having some lunch and already looking so much better.

The first thing he did when he got home was say hi to his friend Commander. Then he ate a big bowl, took a long nap, rolled in his favorite spot, then walked more laps around his pasture than I could count! He even broke into a trot multiple times he was so happy to be home!

A visit to see our Chiefy boy as he recovers from emergency surgery a few days ago. Praying for healing and happiness for him. Because we know that happy horses heal better ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

As a cute sidenote, they told me 2 foals were born next to him the other night who were critical...and Chiefy nickered and talked to them the whole time. I imagine he was comforting the mamas and welcoming the babies as they entered the world.

What a sweet loving and special boy. And what an honor that we get to be the ones to care for him.
