Next Up Action Fund We're the launch pad to help you take action! ✊🏽 At Next Up Action Fund, we envision a future where youth like you boldly lead forward.

It’s a place where our democracy is inclusive and accessible, and our communities are strong and resilient. If we amplify young people’s voices toward collective action, shift power, broaden the leadership pipeline, and address the structural barriers that our generations are navigating, we’ll build a more inclusive movement for a just democracy. 🚨Testimony Opportunity🚨tomorrow (9/9 at 9:30a) Portland City Council is hearing No NDAs for Data Centers!

last week, our Field Organizer, Zac, showed out at City Hall to give testimony on No NDAs for Data Centers—an ordinance aimed to prevent back room deals as our city discusses policies relating to data centers. It passed out of committee and is now headed to the full council 👏

we know that NDAs and backroom deals erode public trust! every decision about data centers should be kept public where Portlanders can follow and engage in the process

thank you to Councilor Mitch Green Councilor Candace Avalos Councilor Koyama Lane for proposing the resolution 🫡

🔗 Council will hear this resolution tomorrow, Wednesday Sept 9th at 9:30a! head to the link in our bio to tell your councilors to support No NDAs on Data Centers 📝

Join us on Tuesday, September 15th (that’s National Voter Registration Day!) at 6:30 pm at Clinton Street Theater in SE Portland.

This PDX-made film follows the candidacies of folks who ran for Portland City Council back in 2024, and shows how ranked choice voting shaped their campaigns. ✅

After the film, stay for a live panel discussion with RCV experts, followed by a Q&A where you can learn more about how ranked choice voting works!

Whether you are new to ranked choice voting, or a longtime RCV fan, you won’t wanna miss this free community event! 🍿

We hope to see you there! RSVP in the link in our bio!⭐️
