Participants will learn how language and assumptions about disability can create or sustain harm, explore the difference between intent and impact, and identify ways to improve access, quality and equity in care.

The session will also explore the wide range of experiences within the disability community and offer practical strategies for creating more affirming, inclusive practices.

Are you or your family worried about paying for food? You're not alone.

It can be hard to stay healthy when you don't have enough food at home.

That's why Health Share of Oregon works with partners like Willow to help eligible members get extra support through Oregon's Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) nutrition benefits.

Recently, two Health Share members facing health and housing challenges were connected to Willow. Both were approved and were quickly able to purchase healthy food at local stores using a digital benefit card.

At Health Share, we know that healthy food is an important part of staying healthy. We're working with community partners to help make it easier for members to get the food and support they need.

Student athletes in grades 6-12 can also get a sports physical through the Mobile Clinic by appointment. Call 971-442-7126 to schedule a sports physical.

Wildfire smoke can affect your health, even if the fire is far away.
Smoke can be especially harmful for children, older adults, pregnant people, and anyone with asthma, COPD, or heart conditions.

When the air is smoky:

🏠 Stay indoors when possible
🚪 Keep windows and doors closed
💨 Use an air purifier if you have one
😷 Wear an N95 or KN95 mask if you need to be outside
🏃 Avoid strenuous outdoor activities

➡️ Wildfire smoke is affecting parts of Oregon, and health experts are encouraging people to monitor air quality and limit exposure when smoke levels are high.
