2020 GIS in Action Conference - Canceled

It is with great disappointment that the GIS in Action 2020 committee has decided that we can no longer support this year’s conference. We have discussed our options, and given that there is no indication for how long this health event will sideline us, we cannot commit to a reschedule before we would be starting the planning for next year’s conference.

We discussed having a virtual event, but the logistics around that are significant, and we are all volunteers with day jobs and otherwise busy lives. We have also discussed possibly having some of the content as webinars over the next few weeks and months, and perhaps a shorter event or gathering in the late summer, but at this point we cannot commit to anything. We will keep you updated.

We will be refunding anyone who has registered in mass, which is easier for us. Give the banks a couple of weeks to clear the refund. It typically takes 5-7 business days. Let us know after that if you have any issues with the refund.

Please understand that the GIS In Action conference is the primary funding source for Oregon-URISA https://www.orurisa.org/ and ASPRS-Cascade Region chapters https://www.asprs.org/Regions.html, so this year is going to be a bit tight. If you would like to donate to these organizations, please visit their websites. Both organizations offer support for professionals in the Oregon/SW Washington region and have jointly brought you this conference for 27 years.

We wish you well in this challenging time and look forward to connecting in new ways in the near future.

2. Enter your email address and the code in the window (to prove you’re not a bot)

3. Choose the type of registration: Vendors/Sponsors choose the 2 day registration to receive registration for 2 people. Please let us know who the 2nd person will be by email.

4. Please enter the name of the person attending the conference. When you pay you can enter the information of the person paying with a card or check.

5. Choose whether to pay online or by Invoice. Invoice just means you can send a check or pay by credit card later.
