Bright spots worth recognizing 👏

Western Oregon University is taking some important steps to align its teacher preparation program with the science of reading by:

➡️ expanding literacy coursework requirements

➡️ strengthening district partnerships

➡️ creating opportunities for future teachers to practice evidence-based reading instruction before they enter the classroom
