Yes Chef! It’s that time of year where cooking for 2 can quickly turn into a meal for 10.
Just remember these four steps for food safety.
1 - Clean food, surfaces and hands.
2- Keep foods separate. Raw meat, chicken and other poultry, seafood, and eggs can spread germs to ready-to-eat food unless you keep them separate.
3 - Food is safely cooked when the internal temperature gets high enough to kill germs that can make you sick.
4- Refrigerate perishable food.

Through generational knowledge, we know the importance of the land and its resources. Here are some everyday ways to care for our surroundings. 💚 💚 💚
⛈️🌤️Collect rainwater. This will reduce water waste and is usable for gardens.
🍅🍉Food waste ends up in landfills which creates carbon emissions. Store leftovers for later or use for compost.
🌲🌻Outdoor clean up! Trash may end up in rivers or streams. Pack up extra litter, leaving the area better than you found it.
