Please join us in congratulating Lucia on her 4th anniversary at Big Brothers Big Sisters! Lucia is our Enrollment & Matching Lead, so her job entails helping Bigs and Littles enroll in the program, creating matches, and supporting a caseload of matches and families.

Lucia worked remotely for a period of time, and said her favorite memory with BBBS was gathering at Pip's Donuts on her last day before moving out of state.

"It was a challenging personal and professional transition, and I was grateful for the opportunity to continue being involved with this community from afar," Lucia said.

Congratulations to Big Lisa & Little Zoey on completing the 5K for Kids' Sake last Saturday! Their race was generously sponsored by Populous, which also had several employees participating in the race. Thank you, Populous!

Lisa and Zoey have been matched for over three years. They are both active and often go on hikes and runs together, so when they heard about 5K for Kids' Sake, they couldn't wait to participate!

When they're not running, Lisa and Zoey enjoy reading, trying new ice cream spots, attending Portland Timbers and Portland Trail Blazers games, and volunteering with the Oregon Humane Society.

A little rain didn't stop us from enjoying a beautiful run (or walk) at Ruse Brewing and along the Springwater Trail in Oaks Bottom this past weekend! Thank you to all of the racers and their supporters, who have raised over $22,000 so far for Big Brothers Big Sisters! A special thanks goes out to:
