Fico’s background check confirms she is, in fact, just a baby in a bandana!

Don't believe us? Come see for yourself! ✨ This sweet lady will be hanging out at our Adoption Center tomorrow (Friday 10/16) starting at 2:30PM! ✨

Her foster describes her as a smart, easy peasy gal who gets along with people and other dogs, enjoys exploring, and is fully potty trained.

Fico will be accepting visitors until 6:30PM or until adopted. You’re welcome to arrive casually, but we can’t promise you’ll leave feeling casual about her.

✨ Slate is bringing her sweet, brave little self to our Adoption Center tomorrow (Friday 10/16) from 2:30–6:30PM or until adopted! ✨⁠

This calm, thoughtful girl likes a little reassurance when trying something new. A bit of practice, someone telling her “you’re such a smart, brave girl,” and soon she’s doing it like she’s been doing it for years.⁠
⁠
She loves being outside, belly rubs, and giving plenty of kisses. Slate is also a considerate dog friend, adjusting her play style to her buddies, and is fully potty trained. Her foster reports this little smarty has done well at home alone for up to four hours, too!⁠

Come tell Slate what a smart, brave girl she is. If you fall in love while you’re there, we certainly won’t blame you.

Burb and Appraisal are hosting an open house, and the house is our Adoption Center. They’re also the main amenities.

These sweet girls will be there today (Thursday 10/15) from 2:30–6:30PM or until adopted!

First up is Burb, a big ol’ gentle girl with a little Nana from Peter Pan energy. Attentive, affectionate, and fully potty trained, she loves car rides, snuggles, and admiring herself in the mirror. It’s hard to walk past a baby that beautiful without stopping! We get it. We also stop to admire her.

Then there is Appraisal! A sweet little couch companion with the cutest happy romps. She takes a little time to warm up, but once she’s comfortable, she’s very happy to pencil you in for lying extremely close together. She’s previously lived with other dogs, has shown interest in playing with them, and could do well with respectful kids and other pets.

Come say hi and see if your next great love is already at the Adoption Center. There’s no such thing as too many people saying “hi babyyy!”

Time for a little fall cleaning, but instead of your closets, it’s your life. And we’ve determined that the main thing needing attention is the lack of a dog in it.

Shiplap takes the Wednesday dress code very seriously.⁠

She is giving Bruiser Woods, and while we haven’t checked her Harvard credentials, the case for being treated like one of the big dogs is officially won. Shiplap has walks to take, adventures to attend, and four perfectly good legs to get her there.⁠

Little miss is currently seeking her own partner! No law degree required, but being completely obsessed with your little dog is not.

Our local farms are apparently growing babies! Yesterday, a little Mayo amongst the pumpkins. Today, a little Milhouse, back in our care and looking cuter than ever in the fall.

His foster describes him as “a goofy lovebug,” with a running leap into your lap serving as his preferred greeting. Plenty of kisses follow. He’s been sticking close to his people, just in case anything requires two people and one of them can be a puppy.

Somewhere in your fall plans, there could be a little blue-haired boy. Ours has fur, but you get it. Milhouse will be available for adoption through our Worth the Wait List (WTWL) first, before general applications open.

Mayo and his foster fam went to the patch, and every pumpkin had to accept that it would be the second cutest thing in the photo.⁠

He may be deaf and have visual impairments, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life and a little seasonal adventuring. This sweet-as-pie baby boy is doing amazingly with all the usual puppy learning, getting along great with the resident dog, and handling alone time like the little champ he is.⁠

Some very good news to go with your Monday sunshine: 12 dogs found their people last week!

Happy Tails to Maude, Ursula, Doralee, Charming, Escrow, Zillow, Ketchup, Mustard, Aioli, Howie, Cape Cod, and Equity.

The sun is out and we have a whole carousel of reasons to smile. We’re feeling pretty warm and fuzzy over here! 🥹💙 Many thanks to the fosters, volunteers, and adopters who helped them get here.
