The Wetlands Conservancy We are the voice of Oregon's wetlands. We protect, preserve and restore wetlands throughout the state.

Wetlands are vital to our community’s health and the health of our environment. They clean and recharge our water supply, provide critical fish and wildlife habitat, and protect our communities from floods. Today The Wetlands Conservancy owns and manages 32 preserves and more than 1,500 acres across Oregon.

With Oregon’s future looking drier, hotter, and more populous, wetlands conservation is more urgent than it has ever been. Wetlands are critical to everything Oregonian: rain, fog, beavers, salmon, our natural heritage, and agricultural abundance. They’re important for carbon sequestration, sufficient clean water, healthy fish and wildlife populations, and human enjoyment. And yet they remain misunderstood and largely unprotected. Will you be their voice?

Our art contest, held in anticipation of the upcoming , was a smashing success. We are proud to feature the two winning designs here, inspired by Oregon wetlands. The art of Corina Flores and Nina Adey is being featured on TWC merchandise (See Link Below) to support our conservation work. Additionally, all finalists who have agreed will have their submissions shown at our upcoming fundraiser, For the Wonder of Wetlands, on May 14.
