Fighting Pretty is a non-profit organization on a mission to help all women battling cancer to feel strong, beautiful and sexy during and after cancer treatment. This organization was developed after the founder, Kara Skaflestad, was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 26. She lost her breasts, her hair and her eyelashes but never lost her beauty. She wore wigs, bright colored outfits and even hee

ls to her treatments and did the best she could to continue feeling beautiful - all the while going through chemo, radiation and more. Now, Kara and Fighting Pretty are on a mission to encourage and inspire all women battling cancer. Never forget, you are strong, fierce, beautiful and amazing! Today, on Cancer Survivors Day, we’re honored to shine a light on one of the incredible survivors in our community: Jocelyn. 💥🥊

Jocelyn is a dog mom, fitness lover, content creator, mortgage specialist, co-founder of Hot Girl Financed, and someone who believes deeply in the power of community.

Over the past year, she’s navigated cancer treatment with determination, optimism, and grit, while continuing to show up with warmth, authenticity, and a heart for helping others feel empowered and supported.

Cancer has taught her to appreciate the little things, celebrate every victory, and remember that strength doesn’t always mean doing it alone. Sometimes, strength looks like accepting support, finding gratitude in hard moments, and showing up exactly as you are.
