---Wishlist Requests
Stephanie Conesa - Winlock Cheer Camp needs $4,000: They are raising funds for 7 students to attend cheer camp at the University of Puget Sound by holding popcorn sales, car wash and bake sales as well as running concessions at games. We approved $1050 which is a budget of $150 per student to help them reach their goal.
Sara Zea Daarud - Life Skills Track Meet Shirts. We approved $264 for 22 shirts to be made by Alicia Meehan’s program so that the students and staff will have matching attire at the May 29th event held at Kelso HS.
Angela Campbell - State Testing snacks and fidgets. To help students focus and reduce stress we have approved $300 to cover treats and fidget toys during state testing at the Middle High School.
Cispus Outdoor School Sponsorship. We have approved a $1,000 donation to CIspus outdoor school to help meet their goal. This also adds the WSCA logo to the shirts.
---Old Business
Scholarship Auction April 18th recap. Successful first event that will happen next year. Lessons learned for next year about checkout and the order of operations, less open food (for example; snacks at tables so it can't be saved) to reduce waste. This event will allow us to award up to $8,000 in scholarships this year!
Donuts With Grownups April 27th
21 dozen Winco donuts ordered, 31 donuts remaining. Positive response and a good turnout. We have been asked to think about a way to let students in the cafeteria who didn’t have family join to get a donut as well; coordinate with office and cafeteria staff for legal and dietary regulations.
Scholarship Deadline May 1st. 3 applications. We have formed a scholarship committee and will review them.
Teacher Appreciation: May 4th - 8th
Saydee’s and Mobile Mermaid free lunch and coffee for teachers
Student participation list on Dojo and posted at schools for fun ideas to say thank you to your teacher

Color Run Jog-a-thon: May 21st. New ID numbers for sponsoring a lap this year because of privacy concerns from the district. Tori handled the city and school side, WSCA handled the color, advertising and fundraising side.
Spelling Bee: June 8th. Ribbons, medals, plaque engraving for winners, shirts.
Field Day: June 10th. Foam canon ordered and sno cones planned.
Pizza Fundraiser: Let’s ask for bulk district approval for Dojo class party count, so we can post updates monthly.
Impacks School Supplies: gathering teacher lists
Back to School BBQ Elementary and Middle-High School August 26th we will have an info table and a photo station with grade signs
Board positions: Rachael nominated Mikel for Vice President and Jennifer for Treasurer and they were voted in.
---Public Comment
We need to email the city and the mayor because Rachael spoke to the new mayor and she didn’t know what the WSCA was which shows we need to do more outreach.
Compile a “how much we spent” message instead of “how much we raised” and maybe include a list of all the requests and budgets we have granted in a school year. This information would be good for the school board meeting as well.
What if we could reach out to past Winlock graduates for a “where are they now” inspirational message to Seniors?
