5. Old Business
a. Pizza Nights: First one 10/7. Adding April 7th Spring Break. Contact
Middle-High about the possibility of including a grade competition for pizza party
(2 slices per student as a snack not to replace lunch). Update Elementary class
counts to have enough coupons. Increased advertising and better coverage on
Dojo and Rooms will hopefully lead to a bigger pizza night; results to be seen.
Interest in donating for Halloween raffle and candy drive; follow up. Ask Ms.
Auckland about Kindergarten tour offer.
b. School Store: Started 10/5. Ask about any option to have a lower than minimum
$40 donation option.
c. V olunteer Drive: 11 signups so far, not ready to end it yet.
d. V olunteer Shirts: Alicia Meehan and Nicolina working on a proposal. Need sizes
and order count.
e. Team Throws: Design picked. Will order a sample blanket.
6. New Business
a. Halloween Trunk and Treat/Carnival/Raffle: Saturday 10/31 5-7 pm
i. Raffle item sourcing: Fishing pole, Gray Wolf, Gordon’s donations, Ron
and Beckie basket so far.
ii. Vendors: Saydee’s and Lorena Tamale
iii. Trunk n Treat Sign ups: share online and flyer posting. 3 trunks so far.
iv. Feed the Monster 10/12 - 10/30 candy drive. Jennifer will sort flyers into
teacher boxes 10/7.
v. Hot drinks table: R will source donations for mixes
vi. Carnival Games: high school and adult volunteers needed. Inventory the
games and parts.
b. Grandparents Day: November 13th
i. photo backdrop, balloons, tablecloths: we want to transition to reusable
fabric tablecloths. Check table measurements and counts.
c. Holiday Shop: December 8-10th
i. Gift donation flyer and QR codes: main Zeffy and Amazon wishlist
ii. Inventory day scheduling
iii. Set up day scheduling
iv. Santa Hap; Thursday Dec 10th, evening family shop 6pm: are we happy
with this time?
v. Mon, Tues, Wed volunteer signups.

New WSCA Sahara Pizza Fundraising Nights: Make your pizza order raise money for our schools! This year they will be earlier in the month so check out these dates. Everyone can participate, and if you have an Elementary student watch for the flyer coming home, or just state which class you'd like to have your order count towards winning their pizza party when you pick up in store or receive your delivery. Help us raise money for all the great school and community events we want to run this year as well as supporting classroom, club and field trip gap funding.

Wishlist Requests
Dennis Tauscher - Student Journals, 50, 7th grade: Requester was not present, so we will email him and ask him to contact the Principal about possible funds first and then say that we would like to support this but they need to be present in person or join the meeting online. We can vote on this request at our next meeting if they attend.

Old Business
Impacks School Supplies 24 purchased at Elementary, 1 donated. 15 kits purchased at Middle. 1 kit is missing: TTK Deyoung, contact Shylia with resolution.
Back to School Events

New Business
School Store Oct 5th- book buddies, merchant portal, not doing gift cards this year.

Volunteers/Committees for Events: Make a competition for the most volunteers gained from a classroom: winning teacher gets $100 Amazon gift card. Create Spanish language version and get district approval for a Friday folder volunteer page based on our back to school info flyer (Rachael). Outreach: see if sports programs will share our events online and vice versa.

Volunteer Shirts: Nicolina will source jersey style, We will reach out to Alicia Meehan’s class.
Sahara Pizza Nights- Move to first wednesday of month, 0ct 7, nov 4, dec 2, no january, feb 3, march 3, no april, may 5th, no june, Rachael will make updated flyer and Facebook posts.

Halloween Trunk n Treat and Carnival
Hours: 5-7 pm on 10/31
Decorate the egg: City Council will need to approve our decorating plan at a meeting. Next is September 28th with 21st deadline for agenda. Ideas: spider or witchy legs attached to base of egg statue.
Raffle item sourcing: community letter from Jennifer for local businesses. Greg/Rachael will create graphic design style flyer with Zeffy link. Volunteers think about raffle ideas.
Vendors: Lorena Tamale, Mobile Mermaid, Saydee’s
Trunk n Treat Sign up flyer and online link updates
Feed the Monster (candy drive and contest) flyer updates, district approval needed, verify dates with Elementary (Oct 10th?). Ask liquidation store to donate or cut a deal on candy?

Fundraising ideas: Pasta shapes, Team Throws. Rachael will get fundraising kits and samples.

Grandparents Day November 19th: photo backdrop, tablecloths, centerpieces from storage

Holiday Shop December 7-11th. Ask for parent field trip style volunteers from classes. This year will be ONLY Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with an additional evening family shop and Santa photo op to maximize volunteer coverage.

Scholarship Auction theme: Sports, with themed tables having different sports.
