Glory to Jesus Christ! The Sacred Heart Preservation Foundation was created in 2024 by a group of local Byzantine Catholics aspiring to preserve the historic Sacred Heart Catholic Church in downtown Winlock. These local families have been praying together since 2020, meeting in various locations over the years. This nearly 5 year commitment to prayer and fellowship for God’s glory has borne fruit in the establishment of Sacred Heart Preservation Foundation.
The beautiful Winlock church, now 100 years old, has not seen Christian stewardship in almost ten years. We intend on changing that! Sacred Heart could once again become a place where the community gathers together for prayer and fellowship. With the town of Winlock seeing a growth of over 30% in 2024 alone, we believe that this is the opportune time to reclaim a discarded church and care for it as the original hardworking founders intended.
