Visitors by Appt Only😊 We are a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue. Volunteer based, we specialize in animals with medical needs. We ensure that no animal is ever euthanized for a medically treatable condition. We also operate a community outreach program to ensure that families can keep their companions during times of need, but offering a homeless, senior and outplaced food bank to provide temporary food and other pet products for families that want to keep their companions

Valhalla Rescue receives no grants or support from local or national humane organizations and depend solely on donations, adoption fees and fundraisers to help our dogs.

Where are our senior Doxie lovers. Bart could really use a foster home to give him some love while we find his forever home.

Sadly Bart's mom passed away earlier this month and him and his first siblings ended up in the shelter. Since his wonderful person was a previous adopter of ours we came in to help the dogs when no one else in the family wanted them.

Bart was her oldest senior and he takes medication for seizures that are well controlled. We would love to find him a foster home that could give him the love and attention that he's so much deserves.

Adoptive homes are also welcome to contact us.

Lets get Bart out of rescue and into his retirement home. He's easy to care for, loves walks and knows how to use the doggie door to go in and out.

HERE IT IS!!!! STEVIE'S DNA.

There was a couple of them I definitely didn't expect and a couple of them I figured were in there. I reluctantly accepted that she probably had some poodle in her, :-) ;-) but now I know why she is so much bigger than Gin Gin or any other poodle.

Also, stay tuned and follow our page. I have found out some more history about Stevie and may have located at least one other sibling. Also, 2 others that were adopted out from the shelter earlier this spring. But I will give credit to my veterinarian he guessed that she was 8 months old and she is. This puppy has a lot of growing to do.

She does great with dogs not so much with cats so cat free home would be the best for her. She's good with god savvy kids and definitely will be the center of attention in any home.

Stevie had her 1st actual visit to Bark n’ Bath this week. It's hard to believe that last month this dog was running wild in the town refusing to come to anybody. It hasn't taken her long to realize that she is safe in a home with people that love her. Her space surgery is scheduled for next month until then we're going to keep on exposing her to new people and new things. COLLEEN is the best and I can't tell you how much we appreciate the time she takes to make every Valhalla Rescue dog feel special loved and protected.

All his vaccines are updated and he's got a good bill of health. Felix is still looking for that forever home. He young and full of love.
He's great with other dogs and would definitely appreciate a home where he could have a companion to play with. He's good for the groomer and his foster home has given him such a good start. If you are looking for a wonderful energetic companion to spend your evening's watching Netflix or weekends playing in the mud, Felix will always be there to do that you.

📣Calling all Foster homes!📣

We need a couple of homes that are interested in easy-care seniors. If you have someone in your family who could use a friend, contact us we would love to match them up with a wonderful companion we have here at Valhalla rescue that is seeking forever homes.

If you volunteer as a fospice or Foster home, we cover all your expenses. Food, treats, vet care, flea treatment, supplies and transportation. We just ask that you supply the love.

I got this picture from one of our foster homes today.

Someone likes to play in the mud!!!!

It's obvious that this sweet boy is going to need a home that does not mind grooming poodles.

He's going in Thursday for his rabies vaccine and then we're going to set up an appointment with the groomer to give him a short poodle haircut. Sometimes you're just too much of a goofball for the Puppy Cut.
