Chris Molinar found his footing as a first-gen college student through PCC's Future Connect scholarship and mentorship program. After completing his B.S. in architecture at Portland State University, Chris is now paying that support forward by mentoring young people interested in architecture through his work with Oh planning+design architecture.

The heart of Future Connect has always been its people — and that was especially clear last week when we gathered to celebrate this milestone anniversary.

We saw former coaches reconnect with alumni, longtime supporters meet new champions of the program, and people from across Portland Community College and our community come together around a shared belief in what’s possible when students have opportunity and people in their corner.
