First and foremost, Ikoi no Kai is about caring for our elder community and sharing Japanese culture through our meals. Every lunch is made with the help and love of our chefs and volunteers. In addition to our regular service, we also deliver traditional bento lunches to Nikkei community members who are no longer able to attend in person. We hope you’ll come eat with us or help us by donating to our program! Make your reservation online or give us a call to let us know you are coming! Hope to see you soon!

This week we want to highlight Hiroshi, who is our photographer here at Ikoi no Kai. Thanks to his expertise, Hiroshi captures annual portraits of our volunteers and community members. He is also a part of the Tuesday sing-along group and Friday quartet where he plays the flute and harmonica! We’re so grateful for all our volunteers whom give their time to support us!

This week we wanted to highlight Nozomi, who serves for us weekly. Though she is a recent addition to the Ikoi no Kai volunteer family, she is deeply rooted into our community through her father, who helped found Ikoi no Kai. When she’s not serving drinks or meals, she’s serving aces in tennis matches! We are so grateful for our volunteers, who make all of this possible!
