Rep. Powell’s second annual Family Fair happening on Saturday, June 20th from 12pm to 4pm in Lawrenceville. This is a free, family-focused community event connecting residents, especially kids and families, to critical services like SNAP enrollment, utility assistance programs, Medicaid, and mentorship opportunities through Big Brothers Big Sisters, alongside other state and local resources.

The event also features fun for all ages. Folks can enjoy a Touch-a-Truck with Undercliff Volunteer Fire Company, hold real fossils with Carnegie Museum of Natural History, or learn ukelele with Millvale’s You be You Music. There will be a dunk tank, free sweet treats, and special appearances from beloved Pittsburgh mascots throughout the event.

This Saturday, 5/9, you can leave a bag of nonperishable food out and your letter carrier will collect it for their annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive.

And if you have anything leftover, feel free to donate to our Free Food Pantry outside of the PHCA office!

Our Food Giveaway events have expanded to include grocery delivery to the senior apartments at John Paul Plaza. This week, we packed up and delivered groceries to 16 different residents. We hope to do even more next month!
