EUSA CFP deadline extension:
We’ve heard from several people asking for more time to submit a proposal so by popular demand we will extend the deadline to Oct 19 so everyone has enough time to form their panels and get their proposals in.

We have already received more proposals for the 2027 conference than we received at the deadline for the 2023 and 2025 conferences. The 20th EUSA conference promises to be memorable-please send in a proposal!

Saarland University hiring W3 professorship in Computational Social Science and W2 professorship in political science, sociology, or communication science who pursue their questions computationally.

SOUNDS is a project at Saarland University, funded with €29 million until 2032, that studies societal change through novel digital data sources. Call for abstracts: EU–Indonesia Relations in an Era of Geoeconomic Tensions.
What makes this project distinctive: each chapter will be co-authored by one Indonesian and one non-Indonesian scholar, with the editors matching individual submitters to a co-author working on the same theme. This is an opportunity to build a lasting cross-regional collaboration. Abstracts (250–300 words) are due by 19 September 2026, and paired authors will present drafts at a funded in-person workshop at Essex in February 2027.
