LUNGevity's Breathe Deep Pittsburgh

LUNGevity's Breathe Deep Pittsburgh Breathe Deep Philadelphia is a grassroots event to raise funds and awareness for lifesaving lung cancer research, education, and support programs.

Breathe Deep Pittsburgh is a grassroots event founded in 2015 by Margot Cohen in memory of her mother, Rhonda Cohen. Margot, a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, started the event to raise funds and awareness for lung cancer research, as she believes that early detection and effective treatment will save other families from what hers experienced. In its third year, Breathe Deep Pittsburgh con

tinues to honor lung cancer survivors in the local community, remember loved ones lost to lung cancer, and provide hope to lung cancer patients and their families. The event attracts hundreds of participants each year and has raised more than $50,000 since its inception.
