Hillel Jewish University Center of Pittsburgh

Hillel Jewish University Center of Pittsburgh Hillel JUC is the focal point for more than 2,200 Jewish university undergraduate students in Pittsburgh. Some call it Jewish life on campus.

We call it...the future. https://linktr.ee/HillelJUCofPgh Hillel JUC sponsors a wide variety of programming that acknowledges that Jewish students have a diversity of interests. Pluralism is always at the core of what we do, where all Jewish students are welcomed and encouraged to participate, as they celebrate their own traditions and learn about those of other communities. Hillel JUC student leaders, professionals and lay leaders are dedicated to creating a pluralistic, welcoming and inclusive environment for Jewish college students, where they are encouraged to grow intellectually, spiritually and socially. Hillel JUC helps students find a balance in being distinctively Jewish and universally human by encouraging them to pursue tzedek (social justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world), Jewish learning, and to support Israel and global Jewish peoplehood. Hillel JUC is committed to excellence, innovation, accountability and results. Hillel Jewish University Center is a beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.

DAF Day 2026 is here - A nationwide celebration of generosity through Donor-Advised Funds!

When you make a DAF gift to Hillel JUC today, you’re helping us in our mission: To enrich the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world.

We're so grateful for the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, where many of our donors DAFs our held. Through the Federation's generous sponsorship and DAF gifts like yours, we are able to host FreshFest, a pre-orientation program for incoming first-year students to begin their college experience with a solid foundation of Jewish community.

Over the course of the year, DAF gifts provide countless Shabbat and holiday meals, learning sessions, social experiences, and so much more for our students. If you have a DAF, TODAY is your chance to join a nationwide wave of generosity and support.
