***60 YEAR SERVICE RECOGNITION***

Last night at our monthly company meeting, we had the great pleasure of recognizing Life Member Chuck Perry for 60 YEARS OF SERVICE to Undercliff Volunteer Fire Company! YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT, 60 YEARS! Chuck joined Undercliff VFC in October of 1966, and has played a pivotal role in the fire company's success. From the old ambulance days to the modern fire company we have today, Chuck's dedication to public safety and the community has saved many lives through his 60 years of service. It is thanks to the hard work of members like Chuck, that Undercliff VFC is where it is today.

To this day, Chuck has remained very active within the station and continues to serve Shaler Township and the fire company. Chuck brings a wealth of knowledge from his years as a diesel mechanic, emergency vehicle repair, and a previous fire chief. He is a mentor that many of lean on for advice and he is never afraid to lend a helping hand. Even after 60 years you can still find Chuck washing the trucks at the station, helping out with projects, and assisting in coordinating vehicle repairs.
