A little more magic left the world today.

Today, Girl Scouts everywhere are saying goodbye to one of our own, Dolly Parton. She understood something we know so well in Girl Scouting: that when a girl is encouraged to dream, given the confidence to try, and surrounded by people who believe in her, she can change the world. Dolly spent her life doing exactly that. She lifted others up, opened doors, gave back, and reminded us that you can be wonderfully yourself while making a difference in the lives of others.

In 2007, she became a Girl Scout Lifetime Member, receiving her very own sash and badges.

Thank you, Dolly, for showing us what it looks like to dream bigger, love bigger, and give bigger.

Once a Girl Scout, always a Girl Scout.🦋💚

Today, history lifts off! 🌕 Artemis II is on its way as NASA’s first crewed Moon mission in more than 50 years, and Girl Scout alum Christina Koch is part of the crew. From earning badges to making history, her journey shows what curiosity, courage, and leadership can achieve. Rooting for Christina and the whole crew on this out-of-this-world mission! 💚 NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA Artemis

Last night, while watching the Academy Awards, our Girl Scouts hearts caught on a moment that felt wonderfully familiar.

As Rachel McAdams shared a moving tribute to the legendary Diane Keaton, she recalled Diane singing an old Girl Scout song on set.

The kind many of us know by heart:
“Make new friends but keep the old,
One is silver and the other gold.
A circle is round, it has no end,
That’s how long I’ll be your friend.”

And just like that… a simple song found its way onto the biggest stage in Hollywood.

More than 50 million Girl Scout alumni strong, and somehow our little songs, our circles of friendship, and our belief in lifting one another up keep echoing through the world in the most unexpected places.

Friendship that lasts a lifetime.

Turns out the things we learn in Girl Scouts travel pretty far 💚🥰
