As many of you have heard, Downtown Pittsburgh has a new attraction! Spark some in-person connections and create amazing memories as you Skate The Square Downtown. A new roller rink is coming to Market Square, May 7-25. You can skate, gather, snap selfies, or simply enjoy the music and energy from the sidelines. With drinks, live music, and a retro vibe, this brand-new activation is guaranteed to get you moving! We are so excited for this opportunity to show how important safe and accessible skate spaces are in the City of Pittsburgh.

Thursday, May 7 – Monday, May 25
Live DJs, Drinks and More!
There will be a bar serving beer and cocktails and plenty of music to move to, including Live DJ’s
Cost to Skate: $17 for 75 minutes of skating (skates included) and is open to all ages.
* Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Guests may bring their own skates, but the ticket price remains the same.

Important Updates!

Unless you have been living under a rock, you are aware that the NFL Draft is happening this weekend in Pittsburgh! We have 2 updates regarding how this effects PGH SK8 School.

FREE COMMUNITY PIZZA PARTY-NFL DRAFT STYLE!
Every 3rd Tuesday of the month we host our FREE community pizza party. On Tuesday 4/21 we are doing NFL Draft style. Bring your favorite appetizer, dip or dessert and wear your favorite team jersey!
Lessons are 7:00pm and are same costs as usual, Open SK8 is free starting at 8:30pm ( REMINDER, no skates available unless you take the lessons)

BIG NEWS!
We are SO grateful for amazing partners like Velum Fermentation. They see our vision and want to help us continue to serve the community.
We are extending our PGH SK8 nights through 2026 at Velum!!
This partnership allows us to offer more spirit nights and have skating no matter what the weather!
Don’t worry we are working on what Schenley SK8 will look like but this allows us to continue the work on a consistent basis.
