Yesterday afternoon the ATU Local 85 Executive Board unanimously voted in favor of a new tentative agreement for our members and recommended the tentative agreement to move for ratification.

Copies of the new TA are being printed as we speak and will be distributed later today or Thursday.

Details on the ratification meeting will be announced soon.

We would like to thank International Vice President , Ray Greaves for all of his assistance and tireless efforts throughout this process.

After a very long day and evening bargaining for a new successor agreement we are pleased to announce that the ATU Local 85 negotiating team has reached a Tentative Agreement with PRT.
👊👊👊

We’d like to recognize ATU International Vice President, Ray Greaves, our legal council Joe Pass Jr & Skye McCollum for their efforts and assistance in reaching this new TA.

A special executive board meeting will take place some time early next week to review the new TA
Followed by a ratification meeting to be scheduled at a later date at which time the members will cast their vote.
More details coming soon.

Today ATU Local 85 leadership joined a massive group at a rally in support of IBEW LOCAL 29 members as they continue holding the line until they get a fair contract!
If you can get down there to support our sisters and brothers please do! They have SCABS performing their work.

Local 85 officers attended the annual roundtable meeting with Congresswoman Summer Lee and other local unions to discuss transportation issues on the Federal level such as operator safety , AI implementation and the $83 million in federal funding to purchase new rail cars.

Congresswoman Summer Lee supports labor 100% ! Remember that come November 3rd!

ATU Local 85 President , Ross Nicotero addressed a full house this morning along with Vice President Karima Howard , Assistant Business Agent , Mike Allen , our brother JP from Johnstown and other labor leaders at the ACLC headquarters to knock doors and work the phone banks as we push through the final weeks leading up to the election on November 3rd.
