There are three pigs that started Better Piggies Rescue: Beezers, Beyoncé, and BUSTA. My beautiful baby died last night after what we believe was a stroke. He took his last breath in my arms, while I gave him scratches and kisses. Busta was my second BPR rescue and our foster daddy. He loved piglets, especially his foster boys Dandy and Ash. He loved those piglets so much we couldn’t adopt them out. After being mistreated at his first home, we made sure he never felt an ounce of fear and got all the admiration he deserved. His yell echoed the walls and his even temperament (especially for hu***ng piglets) made him a pig favorite. I’ll miss how crabby he got with me when I sat down next to hjm, only to flop over right away for belly rubs. Rest in peace my beautiful boy. Thank you to everyone who loved him and scratched him and gave him the life he deserved. 🐷❤️‍🩹

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out yesterday to support our piggies by purchasing Snout Art and winning prizes at the raffle/auction. We adore our community and all the piggy supporters. Additionally, thank you to green New American for being such a great partner. It’s so important that local sticks together and we couldn’t be happier to call the amazing staff at Green our friends. There are still some Snout Paintings available at the Tempe location. All proceeds go directly back to the piggies. More events coming soon as the weather cools down. 🐷❤️
