It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of longtime WestWorld Foreman, Walt Weir. Walt had been a familiar face to all who showed at WestWorld, and will be greatly missed. AzQHA extends our condolences to Walt’s family and loved ones.

From WestWorld and the City of Scottsdale:

For nearly 30 years, Walt faithfully served the City of Scottsdale and became an irreplaceable member of the WestWorld family. Throughout his career, he earned the respect and admiration of coworkers, you as our partners, exhibitors, and members of our equestrian community, through his dedication and passion.

Walt was often the first person many of you have sought out upon arriving at WestWorld, and often a person who was relied on throughout their events. His extensive knowledge of the facility, strong work ethic, and genuine care for others made him an invaluable resource to both staff and you as our clients. More importantly, Walt built lasting relationships with many of you, who considered him not only a colleague but a friend.

AzQHA posts another pair of top level shows!

All of us at AzQHA want to thank our exhibitors, sponsors, staff and the team at AQHA for a wonderful, fun and rewarding pair of shows. We maxed out the facility with a sell-out of stalls, yet the show ran efficiently and delivered a memorable experience.
