We asked some of our team which Casa Grande dog they would adopt if they could take one home today.

Some dogs earned multiple votes. Others had their own dedicated fans. But the one thing everyone agreed on? These dogs are pretty perfect.

Every dog has something special about them, and every dog deserves the chance to find a family.

We loved being on this morning talking about our adoption event this Saturday!✨

Rufus completely stole the show. ⭐️ He did AMAZING, and we just know his people saw him this morning and are getting ready to swoop him up. 🐾

Every year, a class from visits us for a field trip, and it’s become one of our favorite traditions 🐾✨ They spend the day learning, exploring, creating, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the many different parts of Heidi’s Village.

From medical care 🩺 to adoptions 🐶 to operations 📦, they learn there’s a place for every passion in this field and just how much goes into helping animals in need every single day ❤️

These students truly are the future of animal welfare 🌎🐕 and watching them ask thoughtful questions and connect with the mission always leaves us hopeful. Before they leave, they also create something special for the animals — decorating take-home bags with drawings and messages for pets heading to adoption or visiting our clinic 🎨💌🐾 It’s a simple act of kindness that brings so much joy.

We already can’t wait until next year 💙✨
