AZYouthforce is a youth workforce development program through the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley.

Teens devlop valuable professional skills through our workforce academy and then are matched to paid internships.

Happy Teen Day!

Our young professionals got a chance to connect with professionals, ask questions, and get a behind-the-scenes look at different careers and industries.

The earlier teens can explore what’s out there, the more opportunities they have to picture themselves in it. From first conversations to future careers, we’re helping our teens take the next step with confidence.

From intern to award winner!

Natalia joined the family in Summer 2025 while pursuing her Finance degree at Arizona State University. This summer, she continued her journey through our Bank of America internship and her hard work made an impact!

Natalia was named a Summer 2026 FCIP Star Award recipient, recognizing her outstanding work and contributions at her Bank of America location. 👏

It's National Intern Day, and we've got a lot to celebrate.

This summer, teens across the Valley traded classrooms for real jobs. Banks, trade shops, the arena floor and more through AZYouthforce, the workforce program of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley - Arizona Before day one, every intern completed 30+ hours of Power Skills training. Then a dedicated case manager stood behind them through every rough shift and missed bus, because a great internship doesn't end the moment things get hard.

This year, that support included getting interns to work in the first place: a research partnership with the and Waymo gave some of our teens access to autonomous rides, so a transportation gap didn't cost them a shift!

The result: Teens who don't just clock hours, they discover industries they never pictured for themselves!
