What a meaningful opportunity for the next generation to be heard! Club members from Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley - Arizona, Boys And Girls Club of Flagstaff and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gila River Indian Community had the opportunity to meet with Senator Mark Kelly and learn more about civic engagement, leadership, and the role of public service in our communities.

Experiences like these help young people build confidence, expand their understanding of government, and see themselves as active participants in shaping Arizona’s future. 💙

From Arizona to Capitol Hill!

Club teens represented Arizona at the 2026 Summit for America's Youth, using their voices to advocate for opportunities that help young people succeed.

Through leadership workshops and meetings with Arizona's congressional delegation, they proved that when youth are empowered to lead, they can create meaningful change!

A total of 40 teens from Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley - Arizona and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale came together for a hands-on experience, exploring careers in homebuilding and learning from industry professionals.

In April, the 2026 State Youth of the Year finalists took their stories to the Arizona State Capitol! They got to meet with legislators and share firsthand how Boys & Girls Clubs have shaped their lives and futures.

To make the moment even more meaningful, Governor Katie Hobbs officially proclaimed April 13th as Arizona Boys & Girls Club Day, recognizing the powerful impact Clubs have in communities across our state.

We’re incredibly proud of these inspiring young leaders for using their voices to advocate for Arizona youth and show what’s possible through Club experiences!
