To say that these photos make me proud is a complete understatement. I want to thank illustrious Sir Lou (Sal) Miranda for requesting that Alyssa Tudor attend and speak at the Potentates Ball last week. And illustrious Darrell (popo) Mandrel for being her Es**rt. To all the Nobles and ladies who made her feel so special. My only regret is I missed it. I’m not sure how anyone who sees this page doesn’t know who she is, but for information purposes she is our adopted daughter of the Mounted Patrol. A former shrine patient and a testament to what we as Shriners do. As well as a testament to never letting life dictate how you act, live or represent. She inspires me always and I see her inspire others. I tell her and her mother always she is my hero. Seeing her in the grand entry was way beyond cool. Thank you again Nobles and ladies for showing why we do what we do. God bless you. And it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of you.

just wanted to let everybody know that we have secured a new caterer for round up, Barb the Dutch Oven Chuckwagon Cowgirl Cook will be providing our meals for us from now on!!!! thank you to everyone of us who are part of our community that chipped in and helped with referrals and getting the word out and assisting us in resolving this challenge so quickly! Y’all really moved the needle this time!

I wanted to show everyone the wonderful Queening chaps that El Zaribah Shrine sponsored for our adopted Shrine child Alyssa Tudor. If you see in the one picture with her on Fabio, the chaps that are provided for the reigning queen, are way too long for her to wear due to the shortness of her legs because of her being in a wheelchair. So she reached out to try to raise the money to have a custom pair made that would fit her. 
I was trying to word it where it didn’t sound like we were tooting our own horn. But I changed my mind. Toot Toot dang it. TOOT TOOT! I’m so proud of the nobles of our shrine. I brought this challenge to The Mounted patrol and at the next stated meeting of the El Zaribah Shrine, illustrious sir Daryl (Popo) Mandrell made an announcement and he said we are gonna pass the Fez and collect some money to help the cause of this young lady who is such an inspiration to all of us. When the Fez was returned and the money was counted, over $1300.00 was collected from the pockets of the nobles and their ladies. In Ten minutes these wonderful, selfless, awesome people pulled money from their own pockets and took care of business. With the cash and a few checks from clubs and individuals, we more than covered the cost. What an amazing Shrine we have.

And the biggest thanks to all the nobles and ladies of the El Zaribah Shrine. And the awesome crew of the Mounted Patrol. It’s an honor to serve with Each and every one of you.
