On Monday, three weeks before an election, the Trump Administration sent armed agents to Rep. Ilhan Omar's home, following years of politically-motivated and baseless attacks on the Congresswoman.

Rep. Omar is a fearless advocate for her constituents who has stood against President Trump’s cruelty toward immigrants, his attacks on her Somali community, his corruption, and his disregard for the Constitution’s limits on his power. Members of Congress — and every American — must be free to criticize the President.

The Trump Administration is weaponizing the Department of Justice against one of the people’s representatives only weeks before an election. This is a dangerous and unacceptable abuse of power.

Rep. Ilhan Omar is a champion for the people of Minnesota. She has spent her career fighting for immigrant families, working people, and a government that answers to the people it serves. We’re proud to stand with her, her family, and her right to keep speaking out.
