Come hell or high water. And boy did we get high water. 🌊

Today’s wedding day at the shore in a nor’easter will be one for the books. BUT every flower was perfectly placed, it stopped raining long enough for an outdoor ceremony, and the details came together perfectly. Our team were above and beyond.

All is well that ends with a happy couple and a giant party.

Join us in welcoming our new counseling intern, Alexis Pelland-Champagne!✨

Alexis is a graduate student at Thomas Jefferson University, where she also completed a Bachelor’s in Psychology and is currently working towards a Master’s in Community and Trauma Counseling. Alexis is very passionate about women’s mental health and working with survivors of domestic violence. Her theoretical approach combines elements of existential, person-centered, and feminist theories. Alexis aims to create a space where women feel heard, supported, validated, and empowered.

Alexis lives in Philadelphia and enjoys exploring new restaurants in the city, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Blair.

Our free financial literacy group is back!💰This 10 week group offers a safe, supportive space for survivors to talk openly about finances without shame or judgement🤍

Topics include financial abuse, budgeting + saving, taxes, credit + debt, loans, and more! This group will meet virtually every Monday at 6pm starting October 19th.
