Diagnosed with breast cancer at age 35, Mary Gloria Orji initially feared her diagnosis was a death sentence. Instead, her experience inspired a mission to challenge cancer stigma and misinformation in Nigeria.

By sharing her story, Mary Gloria helped establish the first cancer patient support group in Abuja, creating a community where people affected by cancer can find support, share experiences, and encourage one another.
