⛳️First Tee – Oakland hosted our first Women’s Invitational at Golden Gate Park Golf Course, celebrating the power of women in golf. The sun shined bright, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day to share a meaningful experience.
The day was about more than playing golf. It was an opportunity for women to create a safe space for women of this generation and the next to have fun, collaborate, and enjoy the game of golf..
Thank you to every woman who participated & gentlemen of First Tee - Oakland working behind the scenes in creating a powerful experience. Together, we are building confidence, community, and new possibilities through the game of golf. ⛳️

Girls on the green! ⛳💚
Wrapping up Summer 2026, First Tee – Oakland hosted an amazing Girls Golf Camp, giving young girls the opportunity to learn, grow in sport, build confidence with other ladies, and most importantly, have fun on the course! 🏌🏽‍♀️✨

We’re proud to create spaces where girls can feel confident, supported, and empowered both on and off the golf course. Thank you to Oakland Strokes Rowing Team 🚣🏽 and Positive Coaching Alliance for making this collaboration possible and being role models for the youth in our community.

⚽⛳Oakland Roots at Lockwood! 💙💚
Students had an amazing time welcoming the Oakland Roots for a fun-filled afternoon of golf, soccer and teamwork! After spending time developing their golf and life skills, students switched gears, hit the soccer field, and learn from professionals from Oakland Roots! Experiences like these remind our youth that there are so many paths to success.
A huge thank you to the Oakland Roots for taking the time to connect with our participants at Lockwood Steam Academy, sharing your passion for the game, and inspiring the next generation. We are grateful for your continued partnership and commitment to creating meaningful experiences for Oakland youth.
Together, we’re building Game Changers. 💪🏽🌟

First Tee - Oakland ⛳️🏒⭐️ Golf & Skate Clinic! EOYDC & Oakland Bears Hockey Team had the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds, learning the fundamentals of golf at Metropolitan Golf links and ice skating at Oakland ice arena.
From perfecting their golf swings to lacing up skates for the first time, our students stepped outside their comfort zones, interacting with students from different organizations. Encouraging one another, and embracing every challenge with confidence and enthusiasm. A huge thank you to our amazing partners, coaches, volunteers, and families who helped make this day such a success. Together, we’re creating opportunities and providing safe spaces to inspire youth to dream big, stay active, and discover new passions.
Here’s to trying something new, making memories, and having FUN every step of the way! ⛳❄️🏒

☀️⛳First Tee - Oakland | Summer 2026 ! 💚
OUSD students had the opportunity to perfect their swings while building confidence, friendships, and life skills. This summer was filled with smiles and memories that will last a lifetime. Watching our young golfers grow both on and off the course has been the best reward of Summer 2026!
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible coaches, volunteers, and community partners who made this summer possible OUSD, Metropolitan Golf Links, and Monarch Bay. Your support continues to inspire the next generation, one swing at a time providing safe spaces for youth to develop life skills while learning a new sport. To all of our amazing participants, keep practicing, keep believing in yourselves, and remember the lessons you learned on the course will take you far beyond the fairway.
Have an amazing Summer! We can’t wait to see you back on the course soon! 🏌🏽‍♀️🏌🏾‍♂️💙

First Tee – Oakland Tournament Fundraiser ⛳️🏌️🎉 at Claremont Country Club

What an amazing day! ⛳️🎉First Tee - Oakland Tournament / Fundraiser at Claremont Country Club

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the First Tee - Oakland Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Claremont Country Club. Between the beautiful weather and the incredible energy of supporters from across the Bay Area, the day truly captured what it means to come together for the youth of Oakland.

To our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and community partners, thank you for showing up, having fun, and making a real difference in the lives of our students. Your support means everything to us.

Together, we will keep exposing our youth to new opportunities, creating Game Changers through the game of golf, and providing a safe space where OUSD students can grow both on and off the course.

We are endlessly grateful for each and every one of you, and we already can’t wait to see you again. Mark your calendars... we’ll see you at Lake Merced on October 26th! Photos by Sothear
