📊 New data from our latest Almanac reflects a stark reality: health disparities persist across California, disproportionately impacting historically marginalized groups. Californians of color face significant barriers to accessing health care, frequently receive less than optimal treatment, and too often experience adverse outcomes within our health system.

As a beacon of diversity, California has a duty to pave the way toward health equity. The 2024 edition of the Health Disparities by Race and Ethnicity Almanac underscores the urgent need for systemic change. It's imperative that we dismantle these barriers and ensure every Californian has the opportunity for a healthy life.
