Mellow our 1.5 ish year old girl has been in a foster home for the past 2 months and this is what her foster had to say:
"She's quite comfortable and content here. The first week she stayed in the back half of the house. She sits on the bed when I'm reading and sleeps part of the night with me. Off and on the rest of the night she is wild! Racing around, jumping up on the bed, skidding on the hardwood floors. Seems to be having a good time. She follows me around the house and loves to play chase. She is very curious about everything. This girl has shown interest in going outside."
The foster feels she would do better in a home with more activities! She is still getting better about accepting pets other than her head and would need a home with teen kids or older. She will put her mouth on you when she gets overwhelmed but does not bite.
Mellow could live in a home with a mellow male cat but not with dogs or a female cat.
If this sounds like your home come meet her this Saturday at the San Rafael Petco from 12-4. She does get stressed at adoptions events so don't be surprised.
