🌞 A new chapter for Vote Solar — built on 25 years of momentum.
We’re excited to announce that Sean Garren DeKrey will become Vote Solar’s next Executive Director at the end of 2026, succeeding Sachu Constantine.
For 25 years, Vote Solar has worked across the country to make affordable local solar a reality. We’ve done that work through changing political landscapes, federal rollbacks, and significant uncertainty — and we’ve continued to deliver meaningful progress for solar.
Sean has been part of Vote Solar for more than a decade and currently serves as our Chief Programs Officer. He brings deep knowledge of Vote Solar’s work, strong relationships across the clean energy movement, and a commitment to building on the progress we’ve already made.
We’re also taking this moment to celebrate Sachu Constantine and his leadership. Sachu has helped strengthen our organization, deepen our partnerships, and build a culture that invests in people and grows leadership from within.
We’re grateful for everything he has contributed — and excited for what’s ahead.
