HCC was proud to join health leaders from across the country at the 2026 NAHSE Annual Educational Conference in Los Angeles!

HCC team members Asha Bell, Abraham Cicchetti, Rachel Gregoire, Jana Hiraga, and Babar Iqbal spent the conference learning alongside health leaders, exchanging ideas, strengthening relationships, and connecting with colleagues and HCC alumni from across the healthcare community.

Professional associations like NAHSE create an important space for HCC to stay connected to the conversations shaping healthcare and the health workforce. They also give us an opportunity to deepen existing partnerships and explore new collaborations that can create meaningful pathways for the next generation of health leaders.
And one of our favorite parts of being on the road? Running into HCC alumni and seeing the many ways they continue to lead and make an impact. 💙

Connecting with Health Leaders at NALHE!
Sergio Martinez recently joined healthcare leaders from across the country at the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE) Conference to learn, exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, and connect with leaders committed to advancing the health workforce.
One of the best parts of these gatherings is reconnecting with the broader HCC community. Sergio connected with HCC alum Dennise Rosas, President of the NALHE Northern California Chapter, Maria Hernandez, COO of Impact4Health, and NALHE Northern California chapter leaders, advisors, and members.
These relationships are central to HCC’s work. By staying engaged with professional associations and leaders across the health sector, we continue to learn from one another, deepen partnerships, and identify new ways to support emerging health professionals and strengthen the health workforce.
And HCC is still "On the Road"! ✈️ Today, our team is at the NAHSE Annual Educational Conference in Los Angeles, continuing the conversations, learning, and relationship-building. Stay tuned for more from the road!

Connecting with Future Health Leaders in the Central Valley!
Health Career Connection was excited to participate in the Fall 2026 Business, Health, Public Service, and Creative Careers Internship Fair at Fresno State on September 30!
Cassie Chavez spent the day connecting with students, sharing HCC’s mission, and talking about how paid, hands-on internship experiences can help students explore career paths and build connections across healthcare and public health.
Events like this are an important part of HCC’s commitment to building strong pathways into the health workforce and connecting with emerging talent in communities across California.

✈️ HCC is On the Road!
This week, Health Career Connection is headed to Los Angeles for the NAHSE 2026 Annual Educational Conference!

Professional association conferences like NAHSE give our team an important opportunity to learn alongside healthcare leaders, exchange ideas, deepen relationships, and share HCC’s work developing the next generation of health professionals. They also create space to explore how we can work together to expand meaningful opportunities for HCC alumni and emerging health leaders.

And Los Angeles is just the beginning! This fall, you’ll also find HCC at the California Association of Healthcare Leaders Congress in Sacramento and the ACHE Southern California + ACHE San Diego Annual Conference in Newport Beach.
