Thank you to everyone who showed up to Paws in the City at .brooklyn yesterday, what an incredibly fun, lively, heart filling event. The energy, the smiles, the conversations… it all meant so much to us.
We’re so grateful for the opportunity and for every wonderful person we met. Our cats soaked up all the love, and we truly hope they met potential adopters who will become their forever families soon.
Stay tuned for the next event, we can’t wait to see you again and keep spreading the magic of rescue.

Days turned into weeks, and then into a few long months. Every attempt to help Waffles felt like a race against time. She was unpredictable, appearing only when she felt brave enough, and disappearing just as quickly. But thanks to my friend and rescue partner Sabrina, we never stopped trying. If anything, we tried harder than ever.
The thought that she might be pregnant again, in her frail, worn down condition, terrified us. Waffles has had so many babies, and they always vanished. We never knew what happened to them, and that heartbreak stayed with us every single day.
So we kept going. Watching. Waiting. Hoping.
Trying to get her now more than ever became our mission. Her life depended on it, and we weren’t giving up.
Her story is about to turn a corner.

This outdoor kitty has been struggling her entire life, surviving harsh weather, having countless litters, and never knowing what it feels like to be safe. We were asked to help her, but finding her was a challenge. She appeared only when she could, always on the move, always trying to survive.
Waffles has been living outside without proper shelter, without steady food, without clean water… just trying to make it through each day. No cat should ever have to live like this.
But that’s about to change.
Her life is finally turning a corner, and she’s about to get the care, comfort, and love she’s always deserved.

🐾 Captain Nuts has mastered the art of the Great Escape, slipping out of his space and marching straight into the big boys’ room like he owns the galaxy. Tiny body, huge confidence. The captain goes where the captain wants.

Bronx is melting hearts over here and he doesn’t even know it.
This sweet little guy has been through so much, but he’s healing beautifully and getting stronger every day. His gentle nature, his tiny face, and the way he leans in for love… he’s truly one of the cutest kittens we’ve rescued.
Once Bronx is fully vetted, we hope he’ll find the forever home he deserves, a place where he’ll finally feel safe, adored, and chosen.

This big, sweet, chunky cuddle bug is truly one of the cutest boys we’ve ever rescued, and he’s SO ready for his forever human.

Intranasal vaccines are one of the easiest and most effective ways to protect our kittens from upper respiratory infections. Instead of a needle, the vaccine is gently placed into the kitten’s nose, just a tiny drop! They usually give a little sneeze, a wiggle, and then run off like nothing happened.

We’re caring for a lot of kittens, and we just purchased $300 worth of vaccines to make sure every single one is protected. If you’re able to help us cover even a small part of that cost, it would mean the world.
