Taquito is home!!! 🧡🐾
Today is one of those adoptions that fills our hearts to the brim.
After spending nearly a year with us, sweet Taquito has finally found his forever home. So many people passed him by simply because he was 5 years old, but we always knew what an incredible cat he was. Funny, affectionate, easygoing, and truly one of the coolest kitties around.
As we always say, good things take time. And Taquito’s wait was worth every second.
Now he gets to spend his days being loved and spoiled by two wonderful ladies who absolutely adore him. The love, care, and happiness they already shower him with is impossible to miss, and Taquito knows it too.
Cheers to Taquito, his amazing new family, and the happily-ever-after he always deserved. Thank you for believing in an adult cat and giving him the forever home of his dreams. 🏡❤️

After being surrendered because of housing circumstances and waiting over a year for a reunion that never came, Mondo is finally ready to find the family that will love him forever 🩶
This handsome boy is everything you could want in a cat: gentle, well behaved, affectionate, and always ready for cuddles. Despite all he’s been through, Mondo has never stopped loving people.

Cannoli, Princess Heleana, and little Miranda are off to the clinic today to get spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and tested.
It’s a big day for these sweet babies because it means they are one step closer to being ready for adoption and finding the loving homes they deserve.
If you’d like to support our rescue efforts, we could really use help covering their vet bills today.
Anything truly helps, every dollar goes directly toward getting them healthy, safe, and ready for their forever families.

Right now 14 kittens are waiting outside for rescue, and I can’t bring them in until I have more fosters. They need safe rooms, gentle hands, and people willing to give them a temporary place to land.
I take care of all the vetting and all the adoption work, you give them comfort, warmth, and a chance at a real future.
If you’ve ever wondered how you can make a difference, fostering is truly it. These babies are depending on us.

To everyone who came out yesterday to see us at the Paws in the City event hosted by .brooklyn thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness, your excitement, and the love you showed our rescue cats mean everything to us.
Lupita, Nicky, Napoleon, Rain, and our newest intake Miranda were so happy to be there, soaking up all the attention, cuddles, and smiles. Seeing them meet the community is truly the highlight of our day.
We’re always so grateful to be invited and to bring our Lucky Meows babies to meet this wonderful community. Every smile, every cuddle, every conversation helps our cats get one step closer to finding their forever homes.
We truly hope today’s visitors, future adopters and fosters, met their babies. And if not, we’ll be right back with more little faces ready to steal your heart.

A few days ago, we were tagged in a post about a friendly mama and her baby who needed help urgently. This was right before the storm. I told myself I needed a little break… I wanted to focus on my “not so adoptable” kitties who are still waiting.
But I couldn’t stop thinking about these two.
Not for a minute.
So Meadow and Napoleon are now safe, warm, dry, and finally vetted, no longer outside, no longer at risk, no longer waiting for someone to care.
It’s the sad part of rescue: emergencies never stop.
But here’s the happy part: they’re safe because we said yes.
Now I’m praying to the universe that we can get them adopted quickly, make room for the next emergency, and keep saving the ones who have no one else.
