Meet Rosie, a 2025-2026 Giving Project alum, and read about her experience with the program. She makes her pitch for YOU to apply to the Giving Project. Along the way, she shares her journey with redistributing some of her family’s wealth.

Rosie’s Giving Project cohort of 15 raised over $141,000 for the Let Us Breathe Fund. But more than that? They got curious together about grassroots fundraising. They built community and supported each other. And they had conversations with nearly 300 people—inviting them to support movements for justice.

North Star Fund is seeking a highly organized person committed to community building across class and race. This role supports donor education, workshops and programming that helps donors strengthen their giving practices and stay connected to grassroots movements in New York.

• Full-time, 32-hour workweek
• $73,337 salary depending on experience
