In the New Era of City Hall all small businesses are supported, including those who don’t have a roof over their heads like street vendors.
Today we’re seeing the office of Street Vendor Services (SVS) in action; tabling in the Small Business Month Expo, sharing resources with street vendors and building with the community!

We’re thrilled to see City Hall committed to investing in our smallest businesses, and allocating millions of dollars towards resources and services for street vendors.

We’re looking forward to working with City Hall, SBS & SVS to deliver for the heartbeat of our streets, our vendors.

Wishing Eid Al-Adha Mubarak ☪️ to all those who celebrate across NYC!

Behind coffee and Fuchka carts, Halal trucks, and fruit tables, there are Muslim vendors who make NYC 🗽 the city we call home.

Today, we reaffirm our commitment to community, justice, and dignity for all.

Happy Memorial Day New York!
Today we’re honoring all veterans across our city and thanking them for their service and sacrifice.

Many veterans work as street vendors in our city, serving their communities and adding flavor and culture to our streets.
Today is a good day to support veteran small businesses and entrepreneurs and show them our gratitude. 🙏

Remember to support a veteran business today, or thank your veteran neighbor or friend and wish them a happy holiday.

Thank you 🙏 Popwheels Energy for sponsoring SVP's 5th annual Street Vendor Scavenger Quest!

From electrifying ⚡ vendors' food carts to charging delivery workers' bicycles, PopWheels is building the battery network powering NYC's frontline workers across all five boroughs.

PopWheels' UL-certified batteries have eliminated noisy gas generators for Street Vendor Project partners like La Chona Mexicana and give app-based delivery workers 24/7 access to fully charged e-bikes.

With 50+ stations live across all five boroughs and 200,000+ safe swaps, NYC's largest fire-safe battery network is set to double in size in the coming months.
