Luce Remy, Vice President of Public Policy, and Danielle King, Family Formation & Protection Attorney Consultant, led the “Securing Legal Parentage For New York’s Children and Extending the Protections of Family” workshop with Diana Adams, Executive Director of the Chosen Family Law Center, Inc. at the 2026 New York State LGBTQIA+ Convening in Albany, New York. The presentation was well received, and have already begun follow-up meetings with New York agencies to discuss implementing our recommendations, how the passage of the RAISE Children Act would benefit New York residents, and its future implementation across state courts and agencies.
