Treehouse Shakers Treehouse Shakers, is a non-profit theater and dance company based in NYC. We currently have 9 original shows on a rotating tour for babies to teens.

We also provide arts in education residencies, public workshops, and staff developments. Treehouse Shakers currently has 6 shows on a rotating tour, a bi-annual performance season, several new web-series, and partner with numerous schools and organizations to provide in depth arts in education residencies, staff developments and workshops. Every child deserves imagination to grow on.

Every day is Pride 🏳️‍🌈💕🏳️‍🌈 We continue to stand up to injustices facing the LGBTQIA+ communities.

It is our job as artists, as leaders, as teachers, as humans, to push against these injustices. Branching OUT are awarded programs to serve Middle & HS students who may identify as LGBTQIA+ or as allies, or for the general classrooms or staff developments to lead teachers in how to create more inclusive curriculum. This programming began 6 years ago, and continues to grow. We would love to collaborate with your school community.

You are invited!! 💐

Celebrate 29th Season, while we honor a tireless advocate for young people, an incredible teacher and literacy specialist, who continues to provide nurturing spaces for young people to learn & grow. She is truly a light. We will also honor one of our longtime Branching OUT partners Cara Spitzer from Bridges MS in NYC, who is a licensed school counselor at Bridges, a school for exploration and unity. She has over 20 years in leading youth initiatives for young people.

We love and honor all of the partners who continue to show up for LGBTQIA+ kids and families and bring Branching OUT to schools across the city.

The night will also feature a performance by the incredibly talented with accompaniment and get a sneak peek at our newest play with company members
