Did you miss the first-ever SEQ Film Festival in April 2026 at York College / CUNY??? Not to worry the Southeast Queens Center for History & Culture is proud to announce, that in collaboration with the Black Spectrum Theatre Company Summer Cafe Series, we will feature some of the great work from the film festival. Most notably, Tyrel Hunt, filmmaker extraordinaire who will talk about the film ( is a star itself in the film) and Louis Armstrong House Museum will once again showcase a portion of the . If you haven't watched this compelling documentary on , We urge you to check it out. Shout out to PBS as this was well done. Southeast Queens Center for History & Culture just featured a stop at the former home of DuBois during our SEQ 2nd annual Jazz & Heritage Bike Tour. Thanks for the partnership with Addisleigh Park Civic Organization. Next question is what can be done to make sure we preserve the historic home of one of America's greatest minds.
