History and the environment are deeply connected. Many of the places that tell our stories—historic districts, landmarks, and cultural sites—are increasingly threatened by environmental risks such as flooding, erosion, extreme weather, and toxic waste. Preserving history is not just about protecting old buildings; it is also about protecting the environmental conditions that allow those places to endure. This is why the Southeast Queens Center for History & Culture is proud to support Tyrel Hunt and his latest film ! Please go watch it and then get involved! First step might be to support the Addisleigh Park Civic Organization in this battle! Remember, there is no without ! Thanks in advance to these esteemed community groups for helping to get the word out!
