URGENT VOLUNTEER REQUEST – OB/GYN NEEDED FOR JAMAICA MEDICAL MISSION

Due to an unexpected family emergency, our OB/GYN volunteer is no longer able to participate in the LJDR Davis Foundation Medical Mission in Brandon Hill, Clarendon, Jamaica, July 12–16, 2026.

We are urgently seeking a compassionate OB/GYN physician or qualified women’s health provider to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals serving underserved communities in rural Jamaica.

This mission provides free medical care to hundreds of patients who otherwise have little or no access to specialty healthcare. Women’s health services are among our most requested and desperately needed specialties.

If you are available—or know an OB/GYN who may be willing to volunteer—we would be deeply grateful for your assistance.

Mission Dates: July 12–16, 2026
Location: Clarendon, Jamaica

Our Brandon Hill community is hurting. A heartbreaking tragedy has left many families devastated, and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected.

During times like these, it is important to remember that emotional pain, grief, anxiety, depression, and trauma are real. Seeking help is not a sign of weakness—it is a sign of strength. We must begin to remove the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage one another to speak openly and seek support when needed.

As part of the upcoming LJDR Davis Foundation Medical Mission, we are bringing a team of mental health professionals, including a psychiatrist, psychologist, and social workers, who will be available to listen, provide support, and offer guidance in a safe and confidential environment.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please don’t suffer in silence. Whether you are grieving, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or simply need someone to talk to, we encourage you to come. You are not alone, and there is hope.

Healing begins with a conversation. Together, as a community, let us support one another with compassion, understanding, and love.

This LJDR Davis Foundation medical mission is changing lives not only for the patients we see but for the young adults that volunteered their services years after year. Some of these young adults are now college bound and are making decisions for their future based on their experiences at the medical mission. We continue to inspire, change lives, and touch lives. So please support our last fundraising event before medical mission 2026. Event is this Saturday by joining us at our boat ride.
