Our popular Birth Control Choices fact sheet is now newly updated on our website! It includes essential information about each birth control method, how to use it, its impact on bleeding/menstruation, and common side effects. The update also features new symbols to quickly show whether a method requires a prescription, protects against STIs/HIV, or contains hormones. Plus we have a QR code for easy access on your phone—and more. Go check it out, link in bio!

Protection: The Dynamic Duo! External and internal condoms are effective and essential tools for reproductive health, helping prevent s*xually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancies. Safe s*x is not just one person’s responsibility; all partners can and should play a role in protection. Using condoms consistently and correctly supports healthier s*xual relationships for everyone.

Pain levels with gynecologic procedures - like IUD placement and removal, pap smears, abortion procedures, and more - vary a lot.

We created this resource with .4.girls.gays.theys to offer a menu of options to help you manage pain and anxiety during these procedures. Not all of these options may be available or appropriate for you. So talk to your clinician to create a plan that works best for you. The next time you may need a GYN procedure, take this guide to your clinician and ask: “I heard there are different options to manage pain for procedures like this. Can we talk about what might be a good option for me?”

Access to food is a basic human right. SNAP has long been a first line of defense against hunger, helping millions of people, including parents and caregivers, feed their children and care for their communities.

With the recent cuts and the government shutdown, more families are at risk of going without. Now is the time for all of us to step up and do our part to support food access in our communities.

When everyone has access to nutritious food, we strengthen the health, stability, and dignity of every family.

This year marks Beijing+30 — a perfect moment to look back at the real history behind the slogan “Women’s Rights Are Human Rights.”
Though often linked to the 1995 Beijing Conference, this rallying cry was forged through decades of resistance, theory, and organizing by feminists from the Global South—long before it reached the global spotlight.

Monday was abortion provider appreciation day. We thank the clinicians and health care providers across the country who are providing abortion which is essential reproductive health care. We see your courage and your perservarance in these confusing and challenging times when anti-abortion extremists are doing everything they can to make abortion inaccessible. We will always stand with abortion providers, and urge you too as well. Now, it’s more important than ever.
