HHC is supporting flood-affected families through the Government of Nepal, as have millions of Nepalese across the world, continuing our three-decade commitment to disaster relief and recovery.
As part of our immediate response:
- $10,000 (NPR 15 lakh) contributed to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund on 30 August 2026, supporting and honoring the heartwarming efforts made by the men and women in uniform (army, police, armed police)!
- 8 tons of essential foods were delivered to the Samakhushi Nepal Armed Police Disaster Management and Training Centre on 31 August 2026, supporting 60 families for 15 days.
- Supplies include instant foods like chiura, mixture (dalmot), instant noodles and biscuits and Nepali staples for longstay like rice, lentils, cooking oil, salt, sugar, chickpeas, green peas and soya beans.
-5 large waterproof family-size tents with ground sheets were also delivered for emergency shelter.
